Show City Council that you support heritage by attending the Calgary Heritage Authority's heritage plaque presentation in Council Chambers at 9:30 am (promptly), January 24, at the beginning of the Council meeting.
Recipients include Mission Bridge, Spiller Road in Ramsay and the Bridgeland-Riverside Community Garden. It all should be over by 10 am. By showing up, you show City Council that you support Calgary heritage!
City Council chambers are in the Municipal Building at 800 Macleod Trail, the big blue building next to old City Hall. |

Thank you to everyone who was able to join CHI at city council this morning for the Calgary Heritage Authority's plaque presentation. Your presence demonstrates to city council the important role that heritage plays in Calgary's future. For more info on the event, you can review the city centre blog:

I would just like to add my thanks to all who took time to come in person to City Hall to show support for historic preservation. I know it makes a big difference. Congratulations.
