| I heard a discussion that there was a well or spring (I forget ) in the beddington area that was possibly going to be in the way of some development ,and they wanted to save it . This was suposed to be the last good watering spot for horse and wagon people leaving on the old Edmonton trail . Has anyone got any info on this? |

Neil, There is a small obscure little park in a north east neighbourhood [by where 4th and center converge - by the old Zellers] that has a spring coming out of the ground. In the park there is a sign noting what you mention. It has been many years but I think I am close in location.

| I found it on google maps, looks like it's 7th St NW, just north of 75th Ave NW, about 5 blocks from where 4th St meets Centre. |
