I believe the house at the top of this page, located on Memorial Drive, at one time belonged to James "Cappy" Smart, Calgary's Fire Chief from 1898 to 1933.

Sunnyside - Fire loss

Postby Chris E » Sun Jul 19, 2009 2:30 am

This evening fire claimed a building in the 800 block of Memorial Dr SW and indications are that it is one of the buildings pictured in this thread, the "Ingonish" apartments, built 1918

Another new massive condo

I probably should have posted this new topic here. It is about 5th Ave NW 800 block along with 7th Street NW and the same cup-de-sac as 9A Street NW 800 block.
