The Brutal Bus Tour is sold out and we are starting a waiting list in case there are cancellations or no-shows at the bus. If you would like to be on the waiting list, or be informed of an "encore" bus tour in the future, please send a note to rsvp@calgaryheritage.org - thank you for your support! 
Brutal Bus Tour
Date: Sunday, June 26, 10am – 1pm (Please arrive at 9:45am, bus leaves at 10am.) Leaving from front of Old City Hall
Tickets: $30 for CHI members; $35 for non-CHI members; $40 for CHI membership and ticket. Bring your bling to the bus!
Event: Includes three-hour guided bus tour of Calgary’s premiere Brutalist architecture sites and a brown bag lunch
Calgary Heritage Initiative Society (CHI) and the Calgary Architecture and Urban Studies Alliance (CAUSA) have partnered for a unique fundraising event to raise awareness of Calgary’s often maligned and misunderstood Brutalist period of architecture (1960s to 1970s). For the first time in Calgary’s history, we are offering an exclusive guided tour of Calgary’s premiere Brutalist architecture sites. Please join Senior Architect and Urban Designer with the City of Calgary, David Down, for a three-hour guided bus tour of some of the city’s most controversial and nationally acclaimed Brutalist sites. Tour includes brown bag lunch. Please inform us if you have any dietary restrictions.

 Postal shutdown: Make sure you email us so we know we can expect you on the tour and can collect $ at the bus.
Cheque: Please make it out to Calgary Heritage Initiative Society and bring to the bus.
