The owner of the 1914 William Walsh house (former Judge of the Supreme Court of Alberta, and later Lieutenant Governor of the Province) is interested in subdividing the property likely leading to demolition of the home. The house is registered on Calgary's Inventory of Evaluated Historic Resources but is not legally protected.

It has been for sale for a very long time.
When it was listed last summer the listing contained interior pictures, and it appeared then to be in the midst of a very large and very incomplete renovation on the inside.
