Making a Difference: The Art of Leading an Effective Guided Walk

Sponsored by the Calgary Heritage Authority

Interpretation is more than merely passing along information – it is a meaningful and engaging way to connect people and places. Crafting an effective guided walk can result in sparking interest, inspiring behaviour change and creating future advocates. In this hands-on workshop, Cal Martin will introduce you to the field of heritage interpretation, offer tips for leading an inspiring guided walk and leave you with the confidence, knowledge and skills to deliver your own walk during Historic Calgary Week or at other times.
