This is a reminder that we have some great programs coming up.

February 22: Heritage Matters: Designing the Baitunnur Mosque in Calgary with Architect Manu Chugh The Calgary Heritage Authority invites you to the first Heritage Matters of 2013, featuring Architect Manu Chugh. Learn about the design of the Baitunnur Mosque in Northeast Calgary. Completed in 2008 it is Canada’s largest mosque and one of Calgary’s most notable new landmarks. Refreshments will be served. No charge. Central Library, Macleod Trail and 7th Avenue SE, Friday, Feb. 22, 5:30 – 7 p.m. Main Floor South.

March 9: Research the History of Your House* Join the experts and explore resources to help you uncover the history of your house, whether a hundred years old or younger. Great for Century Homes participants too... Central Library Saturday,, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Central - 4th floor North - Genealogy Area.

March 9: Historical Gardens of Calgary Tour some of the beautiful historical gardens of Calgary’s past with a slide show and presentation by Janet Melrose, Calgary’s Cottage Gardener. Central Library - Saturday, Mar. 9, 1 – 2 p.m., Lower Level Meeting Room 2.
