COMMUNITY HERITAGE ROUNDTABLE

The Heritage Roundtable will kick-off 2013 with an evening of grassroots community based heritage initiatives. Get your hands on a copy of Bowness’ latest history book, hear about Cliff Bungalow-Mission’s plans for a heritage district, find out about Parkdale’s historic plaques, learn how the Ramsay community is launching their community heritage program and celebrate 100 years of Colonel Walker School.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free event on February 7 at the Marda Loop Community Hall at 3130 16 Street, SW. Doors open at 6:30 and the program starts at 7pm. Refreshments and community networking will be provided. Register online at www.calgarycommunities.com/events
