Doors Open – an international event celebrating the places and spaces that make cities unique – is taking place in Calgary on the weekend of September 29 and 30, 2012. For these two days only, the public is granted access – free of charge – to 35 premier sites for exclusive tours, events and insider information sessions.
Calgary's last Doors Open was in 2004 -- did you volunteer then? Whether you did or not, your passion for heritage will make this event a success.
As a Doors Open YYC volunteer, you’ll receive:
* The inside scoop on alluring spaces right here in Calgary
* The opportunity to rub elbows with the folks who run Calgary’s significant buildings
* An exclusive limited edition DO YYC T-shirt designed by Broken Box Studios
* Free parking / transit, snacks and beverages
