Calgary Heritage Initiative Society (CHI) and the
Calgary Architecture and Urban Studies Alliance (CAUSA) have partnered for a unique fundraising event to raise awareness of Calgary’s often maligned and misunderstood Brutalist period of architecture (1960s to 1970s). For the first time in Calgary’s history, we are offering an exclusive guided tour of Calgary’s premiere Brutalist architecture sites. Please join Senior Architect and Urban Designer with the City of Calgary,
David Down, for a three-hour guided bus tour of some of the city’s most controversial and nationally acclaimed Brutalist sites. Tour includes brown bag lunch. Please inform us if you have any dietary restrictions.
Kindly email us to let us know to expect you -
