Free heritage calendar from the City of Calgary

The theme of this year's calendar is preserving Calgary's heritage, a fitting theme given that 2011 marks the 100th anniversary of Historic City Hall. Parallels are drawn between our history and goals for the future of Calgary's urban setting. Both the vitality and utility of these spaces resonate with early aims for sustainable growth and good quality of life.
The calendar presents the sites as expressions of our past – and future – culture and ambitions. Calgary's Heritage gives an account of the meaning and value of historical sites in today's context.

The 2011 City of Calgary Calendar will be delivered in the Calgary Herald and through Flyer Force mail beginning on Dec. 28, 2010. If you missed your copy, you can still pick up a free calendar from the following locations while supplies last:

City Recreation facilities
Calgary Public Libraries
Mac's convenience stores
