Tell your community's story as part of the 50th Anniversary of the Federation of Calgary Communities, 1961-2011

We are putting together a history of Calgary's Communities and we need your help!

My name is James Paton, I am the researcher/photojournalist working with the Federation of Calgary Communities on our 50th anniversary magazine project.

Currently we are looking to gather any Photographs dating back from the
1900's all the way up to present day Calgary. We are specifically looking
for photographs that depict your community's history including old pictures
of community buildings or simply pictures that you believe tell your
community's story.

Also, we are looking to gain first-hand knowledge about Calgary's history.
In order to do this we are looking for people that would be willing to speak
about life in Calgary over the past 60 years. If you or someone you know
would like to contribute please contact the Federation.

This is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the history of your
community and your help in this project would be much appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you soon,

James Paton
