Combine food and history for a delicious outing

Today, following 10 days of walking tours, talks and rides in antique cars, Historic Calgary Week wraps up with a closing frolic at Fort Calgary. If your interest has been piqued by this week's activities, there are numerous local historic places to visit on a year-round basis -- places where you can have a bite at the same time. Many of Calgary's sandstone banks, Victorian ranch houses and vaudeville theatres now house restaurants along with their storied pasts. So, here are a few of my favourite combo plates of food and history.
