Tune in to CBC Homestretch (am 1010) Tuesday, January 29th, 2008 after 5:00pm for an interview with Irena Karshenbaum, President of the Little Synagogue on the Prairie Project

As many of you know, this spring the LSPP Society will be bringing
(by truck) one of the last surviving wooden prairie synagogues
to Calgary's Heritage Park. We will restore this historic
building and open it for the public's education and enjoyment in
the spring of 2009.

We would greatly appreciate your support, if you haven't done so

support and/or make a donation to this unique heritage project.

The Little Synagogue on the Prairie Project got a little bit of publicity in the February 28, 2008 edition of Canadian Jewish News:

I should also mention that the little synagogue was rediscovered through the research efforts of Jack Switzer, Bernie Krewski and the late Reuven Dolgoy, whom I acknowledged in my speech at the Beth Tzedec this past Shabbat and will continue to do so when appropriate and in any printed material we may do in the future.
