CITY OF CALGARY PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Calgary - On Friday, October 13, a group of Grade 4 and Grade
5 students from McKenzie Lake Elementary School will be
returning to City Hall School to participate in a special
project that was first inspired a year ago by the Calgary
Heritage Authority and The City's heritage planners. Last
year during a City Hall School visit, the students drew
pictures to scale of a number of heritage buildings.

This year they are returning to help construct and paint a
two-dimensional model of Old City Hall and the old Bank of
Montreal. These models will later be part of City Hall's
festive holiday decorations. The children will be working
away at City Hall School in the Municipal Building Atrium
9:30am - 2:30pm.
