16th Avenue Mural to be saved

A ceramic mural from the early 1960s will be saved from a building slated for demolition due to 16th Avenue widening. See the link below.

Nice to see. When I emailed the Alderman a few weeks ago, she confirmed it was being saved but there's some discussion of whether to
keep it at the Mt Pleasant Arts centre permanently, or to mount it in one of the public art spots on the new 16th avenue sound barrier.

Found this online, images of the moving of Drahanchuk Mural from 16th avenue to the arts centre - several years ago now.
