Century Homes Calgary wins Governor General's Award

The Century Homes Calgary project has won the Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Community Programming. This award was created by Canada’s History Society www.canadashistory.ca to recognize programming developed by volunteer-led heritage, community and cultural organizations at the grassroots level. Congratulations to the organizing committee, community coordinators, sponsors and supporters, and mostly the hundreds of participants!

Century Homes Calgary was recognized at City Council for winning the Governor General's Award for Community History Programming at a reception and ceremony on January 14, 2013. Here is the video of the event at City Council:
