Renovating historic house a careful balance of old and new

They say that home is where the heart is and this couldn't be more true than when you step inside the door of Lisa and Tom Buck's Elbow Park neighbourhood home.

Originally built in 1929, the home is a combination of the original Arts and Crafts style of the era and Lisa's own heritage-inspired designs.

With rounded archways, original wood framed windows and hand-carved crown mouldings, the home is what Lisa refers to as "funky heritage."...
