How to put photos in your posting - FYI

To make a photo visible in your forum message, it needs to be 'linked' to another place on the web, such as photo-posting site (Flickr, etc.).

To post a photo in the forum:

1. Wherever the image is on the web, right click on it, then click on 'properties' and look for the URL. Copy the URL. (Note: If the URL has 'junk' at the end of it, such as '?v=0', which sometimes appears at the end of flickr photos, just chop that junk off.)

2. Paste the URL into your forum message where you want the picture to go. Then highlight the URL and click the 'Img' button at the top of the forum-editing box. will appear on either side of the URL.

3. Click Preview and the photo should appear in your forum message. If it's not where you want it, you can the photo up or down by moving the around like a line of text in the editing box.

Troubleshooting: If this doesn't work, check (a) if the URL is complete, (b)if there is 'junk' at the end of the URL as described in step 1, (c) if the tags are on and at the right places, and (d) check if the original photo has moved and the URL is no longer valid.
