A telling of Calgary's history benefits, I think, by telling about our peculiar brushes with pop culture. Like Stampede Wrestling, Joni Mitchell's tenure here (mentioned on a couple of CHI tours), Calgary's invention of ginger beef, the bloody caesar, etc.
