The national hotel & the president apartments

Hey there everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any news or info about either the National Hotel in Inglewood or the president apartments in the beltline. I know about a couple of development tries on the National and one on the president.

Also does anyone know what shape the buildings are in? mold? about to fall over, that type of thing.

I have heard that the owners of the President are trying to return it to active use of some sort, as their major development plans (which would incorporate the President - see elsewhere on the site) are on hold. Too bad the apartment was closed in the first place - this is it's third winter empty, I believe. I don't know about the National.
