Many changes at the top of Calgary City Planning in Herald

Is anyone else a little afraid of Rollin Stanley and concerned about what direction Calgary Planning is taking?

The new direction seems excessively condo friendly. Which will be at the expense of heritage buildings.

Is it time for people to start telling their Alderman that Heritage respect is important to us? High density cannot be the only goal, like they now only talk about. Development is good but if you tear down a nice 100 year old house you should be replacing it with something that will also last 100 years and looks better and is an improvement. In 40 years what are these condos be like? Are they just bubble driven by investors? Many questions. [/url]
