Looking for heritage residences...

Hello!

My wife and I will be moving back to Calgary after a couple of years in Europe. We've developed a taste for older buildings and would really like to find something to rent with character in Calgary. So far we've come up with Moxam & Congress, the Hester House and Anderson Estates.

Any other suggestions, ideas or leads would be most appreciated. Thanks so much!

I have a huge suggestion. The City of Calgary website has a searchable list of buildings on the heritage inventory. Use the search term "apartment" and it turns up quite a list, many of which are still extant, rentable apartments! Should give you a start.

Skinner Managment also operates a few older buildings, notably the Cape Breton (1940s?) and Margaree (circa 1912) that aren't on the inventory.
